Hi. I’m the voice behind Trauma‑Informed, Unpolished & Unapologetic.

I’m an almost social worker with a history that could’ve turned me into a statistic, a cautionary tale, or a walking trauma dump — but instead, it turned me into someone who’s deeply curious about why we are the way we are, and how we grow past the things that tried to shape us.

I write from the middle of the work, not the end of it. I’m not here to offer inspirational quotes, toxic positivity, or “five steps to healing.” I’m here to reflect, unpack, and tell the truth — the kind that’s uncomfortable, grounding, and sometimes a little funny because humor is a coping skill and I’m not giving it up.

My lens is trauma‑informed.

My voice is unpolished.

My perspective is unapologetic.

This space is where I sort through the internal messiness of becoming a regulated adult, a future clinician, and a human who refuses to be defined by what happened to her. If you’re here for honesty, nuance, boundaries, and the occasional side‑eye at the systems we’re all navigating, you’re in the right place.

I’m not here to be perfect. I’m here to be real — and hopefully help someone else feel a little less alone in their own unpolished process.
